The 19th Announcement Regarding the Open Letter on Liu Juhua’s Plagiarism Case
December 15, 2013
After the publication of the 18th Announcement Regarding the Open Letter on Liu Juhua’s Plagiarism Case
, CCP Central Committee announced its Decision on Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening Reforms
. It is our belief that the leaders of the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (GSCASS) should “make sure that the government fully plays its part
,” and “completely improve normalized work style
.” The fact is, GSCASS has been doing nothing about the Open Letter on Liu Juhua’s Plagiarism Case, published on March 15, 2012, and the eighteen Announcements regarding the Open Letter, published since then. It is flagrant dereliction of duty by the leaders of the GSCASS.
We solemnly ask Mr. Huang Xiaoyong, the CCP Secretary and Dean of the GSCASS, and Mr. Wen Xueguo, Mr. Zhao Rui, and Mr. Wang Bing, the deputy Deans of the GSCASS: Please study carefully and thoroughly the Decision made by the CCP Central Committee, as well as the Higher Education Law of the People's Republic of China
, Regulations on Academic Degree Thesis Fraud, issued by China’s Ministry of Education, and the Interim Sanction Provisions of Institutional Organization Employees, issued jointly by China’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Supervision. You should not ignore, let alone trample on, the Party disciplines and the State laws. You should know that in the histories of Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Republic of China, any people who disregard the Party disciplines and the State laws have been severely punished eventually. On the other hand, what you have done on the Liu Juhua scandal is absolutely contrary to the norms and standards generally accepted by the civilized human societies worldwide, therefore, you and the school you represent are destined to being disparaged and spurned by all mankind.
